SASA! Monitoring & Assessment
In addition to the randomized control trial of 1585 participants being used to evaluate the SASA! approach, there are variety of quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation tools within SASA!, including Phase Plans, Strategy Plans, Activity Report Forms, Activity Summary Reports, Outcome Tracking tools, and even sample Rapid Assessment Surveys to help organizations wishing to replicate SASA! and monitor and evaluate their own progress.
In addition to these, Raising Voices and CEDOVIP, with the support of LSHTM and ICRW, are employing a wide variety of methods to assess the SASA! program. Many of the methods are being adapted to use in violence against women prevention for the first time, and program staff are working hard to be sure they are streamlined, valid, reliable and easy-to-use within the SASA! program. As new tools emerge that might be useful for other organizations using SASA!, these tools will be put on the website for download as well.
