“What is a Good School” Cartoons

Raising Voices published a total of 72 cartoon strips that appeared weekly during the months of July and August 2007 in seven different newspapers. The cartoons strips, “What is a Good School?…” aim to stimulate the public to think about the kind of education children get at school. The cartoon strips also opened a dialogue about corporal punishment in schools as well as in the community by stimulating discussions about how children feel when they are beaten.
